The Kurdistan Strategic Studies and Scientific Research Institution (KISSR) is renowned in academia and research across the Kurdistan Region as well as Iraq. It co-operates in research with higher education institutions in several local and foreign universities, is involved in a variety of networks to promote international mobility, and offers more than fifteen Masters and Ph.D. programs.
In close cooperation with its non-university partners at the KISSR, the institution promotes internationalization in the fields of research, teaching and administration. The long-term pursuit of these objectives is carried out by having information office of the University of Göttingen, Germany.
The focus of internationalization at Kurdistan Strategic Studies and Scientific Research Institution (KISSR) are operated in two offices:

- Information Office on the University of Göttingen – Iraq
