Labs Quality control 2

Quality control 2

The quality control lab is multidisciplinary and focused on integrating the fundamental principles in soil, water, air, cropping, and watershed systems that lead to improved environmental quality, sustainability, and enhanced agricultural system efficiency

This laboratory is equipped with the following equipment:

 Flame photometer:

Flame photometer designed for the routine determination of sodium (Na) and potassium (K) additional filter are available for the determination of Lithium (Li), Calcium (Ca) and Barium, this equipment is direct reading use in clinical, industrial and educational application

Atomic absorption 200:

Atomic absorption is a spectroanalytical procedure for the quantitative determination of chemical elements using the absorption of optical radiation (light) by free atoms in the gaseous state.

Application of atomic absorption:

  • Water analysis: Analyzing water for its metal content.
  • Clinical analysis: Analyzing metals in biological fluids and tissues such as whole blood, plasma, urine, saliva, brain tissue, liver, muscle tissue, semen
  • Pharmaceuticals: In some pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, minute quantities of a catalyst that remain in the final drug product

HPLC   high performance liquid chromatography:

This equipment used to separate, identify, and quantify each component in a mixture. It relies on pumps to pass a pressurized liquid solvent containing the sample mixture through a column filled with a solid adsorbent material. Each component in the sample interacts slightly differently with the adsorbent material, causing different flow rates for the different components and leading to the separation of the components as they flow out the column.

This product is classified as a digital device used exclusively as Industrial, commercial, or medical test equipment that means used for analyzing hydrocarbon compound

 UV- Spectroscopy

UV- Spectroscopy is an analytical technique that measures the amount of discrete wavelengths of UV or visible light that are absorbed by or transmitted through a sample in comparison to a reference or blank sample.it is the best analytical tool for quantitative and qualitative analysis of samples for various research fields.
