The Kurdistan Institution for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research (KISSR) and the Vision Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate and take steps in the scientific data collection and joint strategic studies.

On Thursday 16 April 2026, Professor Dr. Shwan K. Rashid, President of the Kurdistan institution for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research, accompanied by a number of researchers of the Kurdistan institute visited Vision Foundation. The MoU was signed between Prof. Dr. Shwan K. Rashid, President of the Kurdistan Institution and Mr. Adnan Othman, president of Vision Foundation, stating that the two institutions will conduct joint scientific studies in various fields.

The meeting discussed the main points of cooperation including the scientific data collection in key areas of strategic researches (environmental protection, supporting food security in Kurdistan, promoting information technology, public health, economy, etc.) to strengthen research and address social challenges, for this collaboration work several suggestions were presented to produce a reliable scientific data and the promotion of social development.
